Best Self Challenge - Rhon
Pretty early on, I realized Yoga wasn’t going to be an overnight fix. In a culture seemingly wired to chase finish lines, I definitely carried that quiet “one day I’ll be done” mindset. But actually staying with it — really showing up — shifted something. I started to understand this isn’t something you finish; it’s a life journey. And life isn’t done until it’s done.
Containers like BSC give us somewhere to return, to recommit — not to some ideal version of ourselves, but to the deeper Self we’re growing into (remembering). Being human is messy; that’s part of the deal. We’re learning how to bring our truest Self into an imperfect world and hopefully leave things a bit better. To do this, we challenge ourselves. And yes, the imperfection in our perfection shows up. Most importantly, how do we respond?
Rumi speaks about returning to the altar again and again, even imperfect — that’s the point. Perfection isn’t the goal; coming back is, each time a little more aware and open. Just because I didn’t “finish” the first time doesn’t mean it didn’t count. Each round looks different, and the real question is simple: can I offer a little more of my best, right where I am? I’d love to be on the journey with you.
